Mary Ruth Collins

Mary Ruth Collins, age 77, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2007 in a local healthcare facility. She formerly attended the Concord Baptist Church in East Brainerd. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Clayton Collins and Frances L. Huston Collins; one brother, John Franklin Collins and a niece, Judith Ann Pugh. She is survived by her two sisters: Eloise C. Thomas and Roselyn Collins both of Cleveland; one sister-in-law, Elinor Collins of Nashville; one aunt, Violet Barbett of North Fort Myers, Florida; nieces: Sandra Jayne Buda, Janet Lynn Collins, Rosemary Dworak and Jennifer L. Carpenter; nephews: John Michael Collins, James Mitchell Collins, Jerry S. Collins, Jeffrey Collins, Denny Thomas, Rob Thomas and Stephen Thomas. Memorial services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Minister Jeff Archey and Rob Thomas officiating. Interment will be conducted on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Lakewood Memory Gardens South in Rossville, Georgia with Thomas E. Carmichael officiating. Minister Jeff Archey will conclude the service with a white dove release ceremony. Her family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
