Lloyd Dean King

James Russell Ferguson, age 72, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, January 26, 2007 at a local hospital. He was born on December 13, 1934. Mr. Ferguson was the son of the late Samual and Minnie Ferguson and was also preceded in death by his wife, Trecy Yvonne Ferguson; brothers, Dudley Ferguson and Dean Patrick. He is survived by his daughters: Cindy (Tinsley) Stewart , Laveal Ashley of Chattanooga; sons-in-law: Joseph Stewart of Cleveland and Phil Ashley of Chattanooga; brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Marsha Ferguson of Ohio; sisters and brothers-in-law: Ovaline and Leroy Shine of Ohio and Shelby and Richard Otte of Ohio; brother, Murl Ferguson of California; brother-in-law, Leonard Patrick of Chattanooga; sister-in-law, Shannon Ferguson of Ohio; three grandchildren: James A. Curtis, Ronald A. Curtis and Wendy M. Curtis all of Cleveland; three great-grandsons; three great-granddaughters; eight nieces and nine nephews also survive. Funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Albert Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with military honors. Tim Cross, Jeremy Hayes, Phil Ashely, James A. Curtis, Larry Sneed, Matt McCurry and Rickie Cantrell will serve as pallbearers. His family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
