Jack Franklin Talley

Russell Lee Wolfe, age 91, a resident of Ooltewah Snowhill Road, died at his home on Saturday, January 27, 2007. He was a member of Green Wood Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Wolfe and Eavy Wolfe and also his grandson, Jason Wolfe. Survivors include his wife Katie Wolfe; daughter, Edna Newell of Athens, TN; son, Larry Wolfe of Ooltewah; grandsons: Herbert Wenck of Etowah and Jimmy Wolfe of Ooltewah; great-grandsons: Lien Wenck and Kylon Biard; sisters: Louise Whitaker and Imogene Shrader of Atlanta, GA; brother, J.L. Wolfe of Georgia; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend James Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. His family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
