Joseph T Greene

Joseph T. Greene, age 89, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, February 9, 2007 after a short illness. He was a member of the Tasso United Methodist Church. He was a charter member of North Lee Ruritan Club where he was very active for many years. He was retired from Magic Chef after with 46 years of service. Mr. Greene was the son of the late Thomas Greene and Ellen Mahan Greene and was also preceded in death by his wife, Grace M. Kibler Greene; two sisters, Mabel Greene and Clara Ellis; two brothers, Gordon Greene and Glen Greene. He is survived by his son, Tommy Greene of Cleveland; one grandchild, Carrie E. Greene of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at the Tasso United Methodist Church Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Tasso United Methodist Church Memorial Association, 1106 Tasso Lane NE, Cleveland, Tennessee 37312.
