Frank A Hudson

Reverend Frank A. Hudson, 86, a resident of Old Fort, TN, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2007 in a local hospital. He attended the Unity Church of God in Cleveland. He was an ordained minister in the Church of God for 50 years and was a member of Signal Mountain Church of God for 23 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II in Europe. He was a member of the I.B.E.W. local union 175 for 55 years. Reverend Hudson was the son of the late Oscar Brown Hudson and Electra Holloway Hudson and was also preceded in death by the mother of his children, Lucille Hudson. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Adilee Hudson of Old Fort, TN; four children: Jean Sturdivant of Augusta, GA, Wanda Sue Higdon of East Ridge, TN, Billy Ray Hudson of Signal Mountain, TN and Donnie Hudson of Cleveland, TN; nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Irene Grayson of Signal Mountain, TN; one brother, Richard Hudson of Signal Mountain, TN; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Harley Morrison and Pastor Grady Simpson officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park with military honors. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home
