Neil David Smith

Neil David Smith, age 74, a resident of Cleveland and former resident of Waveland, MS, passed away, Thursday, March 22, 2007 at a local hospital. He was of the Presbyterian faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served in the Korean War. Mr. Smith was a retired attorney. He was a member of Willamette University Alumni Association. He was an avid gardener and lover of nature. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Alan Smith and Marion B. Reed Smith. He is survived by his wife, Ursula Smith of Cleveland; eight children: Everly Smith, Alan Smith and wife, Rebecca, David Smith and Maria Sebastia, James Smith and wife, Monika; Bryan Kelley, Patrick Kelley and wife, LaVaun, Angela Mulligan and husband, William and Jennifer Miller and husband, William; six grandchildren and his beloved dog, Beauregardless. A private family memorial service will be held at the home. Interment will be in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
