Joel Douglas Culp Sr.

Joel Douglas Culp Sr., age 55, a resident of Bradley County passed away Saturday, March 31, 2007 in a Johnson City hospital. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where in served in Guam, Alaska and Sicily. He is survived by his parents, Enoch E. Culp and Dorothy Williams Culp of Cleveland; maternal grandmother, Myra Nell Williams of Clanton, AL; children, Joel Douglas Culp, Jr. of Lexington, KY, Joshua Daniel Culp of Knoxville and Doni Lee Brooks of Cleveland; three grandchildren: Destiny Brooks, Ava Brooks and Nina Brooks; sister, Paula Culp of Cleveland; brothers: Michael Culp of Urbana, MO, Gregory Culp and Noel Culp both of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Gibson and Reverend Tom Moncrief officiating. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors. His family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at the funeral home.
