William Adams

William Edward (Buddy) Adams, 70, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2007, an Easter home going. He had been a resident of Cleveland for more than 30 years and retired from M&M Mars. He had worked at CF Industries for 19 years. He was a member of Clingan Ridge Baptist Church for 32 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard F. and Inez Riley Adams; two brothers: Robert Franklin and Howard Douglas (Buster) Adams. Survivors include his beloved wife, Martha Yvonne Cook Adams of Cleveland; daughters, Deborah Ann Newman and spouse, Fred Newman of Farragut, Tamara Denise Robinson and spouse, John Brooks Robinson of Cleveland; five grandchildren: Raven Robinson Burrell and spouse, William Lee Burrell, Ryan Robinson Hare and spouse, Joshua Hare, Mandy Newman Jones and spouse, Matthew Jones, Grant Newman and Ashley Robinson; three great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Ricky Vaughn, Reverend James Vaughn and Reverend Lamar Dietz officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Grant Newman, Matt Jones, Will Burrell, Josh Hare, Shawn Cordell, and Ernest Cook, Jr. will serve as pallbearers. His family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
