David Wesley Crick, 73, a life long resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2007 in a local healthcare facility. He was a member of East Side Church of Christ where he enjoyed a cappella singing and was active in leading congregational singing for many years. He was a member of Oak Grove Ruritan Club. He had been employed with Westvaco. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in the Korean Conflict. Mr. Crick was the son of the late Paul W. Crick and Estelle Murphy Crick. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Juanita Crick of Cleveland; children and spouses: David Lee and Debbie Crick of Apison, TN, Roger Dale and Patti Crick of Cleveland, TN, Paula and Bruce Cole of Cohutta, GA and Cheryl and Tommy Huskey of Cleveland, TN; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Lyman Michael Crick of Goodlettsville, TN; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2007 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Minister Jeff Archey and Minister Bill Maynard officiating. Interment will follow in Union Grove Church of Christ Cemetery with military honors. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. David Triplett, Steve Richardson, Greg Davis, Bugs Carver, Ricky Carver, Brian Cartwright, Jerry McGaha and Larry King will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be elders: Herdis Kyle, Marvin Hutson, Franklin Kyle and Russell Snyder. His family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2007 at the funeral home.
