Brenda Mae Wolfe Davis, 61, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at her residence. She was a member of the American Legion and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her father, Curtis Wolfe and mother Mary Beatrice Wolfe; sister, Betty Randolph; brothers, Pledger Wolfe, twin brother, Specialist 4th Class Jimmy Ray Wolfe. Survivors include her loving husband James Davis, Sr.; brothers: David Wolfe and Royce Wolfe; daughter, Mary Jo Brewer; sons and spouses: David and Pam Marr of Blue Ridge, GA, Ray and Sherry Marr of Douglasville, GA, James "Patch" Davis, Jr. and Steve and Dana Davis of Cleveland; grandchildren: Cassie and Steven Presley, Brandon, Shelby, Jessica and Courtney Marr, Caitlin Marr, Andrew, Chris, David and Hunter Davis, Hannah Ellis, Chris Allen; great-grandchild, Jaxon Presley; several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Darrell Grady officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Andrew Davis, Chris Davis, Chris Allen and Jake Staton will serve as pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and also Friday from noon to 4 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
