Virginia Humbard

Virginia Humbard, age 79, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2007 in a local hospital. She was a member of Waterville Baptist Church. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Humbard loved to garden and was devoted to her church. and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eulie Howard and Lillie May Sneed Howard; brothers: Robert Howard and W.T. Howard; sisters: Agnes Jenkins, Mildred Headrick and Maggie Caldwell She is survived by her husband of 61 years, J.T. Humbard of Cleveland; daughters and spouses: Carolyn Green and Larry of Hilliard, FL and Marcella Arp and Tony of Cleveland; grandchildren: Alan Green and wife, Chelanne of Lynchburg, VA, Shonna Dillman and husband, Perry of Yulee, FL, Daniel Green and wife, Kim of Davie, FL, Amanda Arp of Cleveland and David Arp of Harbor City, CA; great grandchildren: Breanna Green and Alex Green of Lynchburg, VA, Justin Dampier and Kaitlyn Damiper of Yulee, FL, Gregory Green of Davie, FL and Gideon Mantooth of Cleveland and sister, Grace Bailey of Farmville, VA. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Alan Lovelace officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Tony Arp, Larry Green, Ron Chastain, Frank Reece, Charlie Howard and Johnny Baker serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
