Roger Lincoln Harner

August 10, 1917 — April 20, 2007

Roger Lincoln Harner, 89, a resident of Cleveland and a former resident of Alabama and Ohio, passed away Friday, April 20, 2007 in a local healthcare facility. He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corp serving in World War II. He was a member of the 52nd Fighter Squadron TE. Mr. Harner was the son of the late Lincoln B. and Susie Koogler Harner and was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Katherine Bradshaw Harner and a daughter, Norma Sue Harner. Survivors include his son and spouse: James and Nina Harner of Cleveland; two grandsons and spouses: Brian and Tracy Harner of Charleston and Adam and Kristi Harner of Cleveland; two great-grandchildren: Autumn Harner of Charleston and Noah Harner of Cleveland. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2007 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Andy Ferguson officiating. Military honors will conclude the service.
