Charles Edward Smith

Charles E. Smith, age 84, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2007 in an Etowah healthcare facility. He was of the Full Gospel Faith. Mr. Smith was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby E. Smith and his parents, Elmer Smith and LouAnna Nelson Smith. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Linda Smith of Cleveland and one sister, Lois Thompson of Chattanooga. Graveside services will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. Thursday at Fort Hill Cemetery with military honors. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
