Sadie Hood Nicholson

Sadie Hood Nicholson, age 86, passed away April 29, 2007 in a local healthcare facility. Mrs. Nicholson previously lived in Centerville, VA and has been a resident of Cleveland for the last six months. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Flat Rock, NC. Mrs. Nicholson was a former administrator with the Charleston, SC County Schools. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Eugene Nicholson; parents, Dannie Creighton Hood and Orrie Brookshire Hood. She is survived by her children and spouses: Hugh and Janice Nicholson of Cleveland; Jean and Steve Sinclair of Herndon, VA; Donald Nicholson of Charleston, SC; and Dannie and Peggy Nicholson of Goose Creek, SC; six grandchildren: Leah and John Poteet of Cleveland, Kelia and David Domingo of Goose Creek, SC, Derek Nicholson and wife, of Jacksonville, FL; Richard Hugh Sinclair and Joseph Stephen Sinclair both of Herndon, VA and Scott Nicholson and wife of Aiken, SC; nine great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Interment will be at Live Oak Memorial Gardens in Summerville, SC. No services are planned at this time. Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
