John Daris Wooden

John Daris Wooden, 77, a life long resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, April 30, 2007 in a local hospital. He was of the Baptist faith. He was former employee of Hardwick Stove Company. Mr. Wooden was the son of the late George Washington Wooden and Jessie Marie Parker Wooden and was also preceded in death by his wife, Mamie Scroggins Wooden. Survivors include his children: Raymond Leon Wooden of Fayetteville, NC, Helen Loretta Wooden of Cleveland and David Wooden of Virginia; two grandchildren; two brothers: Robert Wooden and Harry Wooden both of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2007 at the Price Cemetery with Dr. Reed Wright officiating. Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
