Mary Jane Bean

Mary Jane Bean, 80, a resident of Byron, Michigan, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2007 at the family residence. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Bean was the daughter of the late Roscoe Tinsley and Juanita Burgess Tinsley and was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred Russell Bean; two sons, Danny Bean and James Bean; one brother, Ralph Tinsley; one sister, Sue Scott. Survivors include three sons: John Bean and Fred Bean both of Greenville, TN and Chris Bean of Byron, Michigan; four daughters: Freida Davis of Cleveland, TN, Sandra Killian of Howell, Michigan, Connie Minor of Tampa, Florida and Deidra Nicoll of Midwest City, Oklahoma; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four sisters: Iona Scoggins of Cleveland, TN, Norma Floyd of Cleveland, TN, Margaret McKamey of Florence, South Carolina and Ola Mae Trentham of Cleveland, TN; seven brothers: James "Bud" Tinsley, Robert Tinsley, Frank Tinsley and Glenn Tinsley all of Cleveland, TN, Joe Tinsley of Atlanta, Georgia, Coy Tinsley of Harrison, TN and Major Tinsley of Polk City, Florida; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with great nephew, Blake Tinsley officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
