Robert "Bobo" Lawson, 37, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at a local hospital. He was of the Baptist faith. He was an electrician with Shaw Industries in Dalton, Georgia for 14 years. He was preceded in death by his father, James Polk Lawson. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Marie Lawson of Cleveland; mother, Louise Johnson of Benton; mother of his children, Angela J. Lawson of Cleveland; three children: Monica Lawson Armstrong, Janashay Cannon and Kayla Lawson all of Cleveland; two step-children: Amanda Piarino and Nicholas Piarino both of Cleveland; one grandchild, Morgan Alexa Armstrong; four brothers: William Johnson of Etowah, Gene Johnson of Sweetwater, James Lynn Lawson and Ricky Johnson both of Benton; four sisters: Jessie Hunt of Benton, Judy Woodeson of Englewood, Donna Burris of Athens and Brenda Shook of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Bryan Linginfelter officiating. Interment will follow in McInturf Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.
