William (Bill) Harris

William Ray (Bill) Harris, 71, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2007 in a local healthcare facility. He was a member of Bellfounte Baptist Church. Mr. Harris was member of the Masonic Lodge #134. He retired from his heating and air business in 2006. Preceding him in death were his parents, James Harris and Elsie Barker Harris; sister, Kathryn Harris and brother, Edward Ray Harris. He is survived by the mother of his children, Patsy Harris of Cleveland; children: James Harris and wife, Sandy, Chuck Harris and wife, Samantha and Ashley Harris and Tony Ownby all of Cleveland; special grandchildren: Whitley Harris, Justice Harris and Hartley Harris; brothers: Howard Lee Harris, Jack Harris; sister, Paula Harris and several nieces and nephews all of Cleveland. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2007 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Dr. Jay McCluskey and the Reverend Lake Walker officiating. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. His family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
