Rocky Lee Branson, 28, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2007 at his residence. He was a loving husband, father, son and friend. He was a member of Galilee Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed four wheeling. He was employed with Whirlpool. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harvey and Ruth Branson and Jake Bradshaw; nephew, Austin Blake Payne. Survivors include his wife of eight years, Remanda Branson of Cleveland; daughter, Taylor Branson of Cleveland; parents, David and Cindy Branson of Cleveland; one brother, Shane Branson of Greenville, NC; one sister, Angie Chavis of Fayetteville, NC; mother-in-law, Pam Mowery of Cleveland and special friend, Bill Coultry; father-in-law, Mark and Arlene Murray of Friendsville, TN; special grandmother, Bonnie Cox of Cleveland; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2007 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Raymond Reed presiding. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Hoot Loach, Shane Branson, Shane McKee, Shaun McKee, Curtis Creighton and Brandon Loach will serve as pallbearers. His family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
