Jimmy Haney, age 64, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2007 at his home. He was an admirable man who spent forty years of his life working at Magic Chef/Maytag. He took pride in his service there and was loved and respected by his employees. He was a dedicated husband and family man who devoted his life to loving and taking care of his family. He loved playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and also enjoyed camping, fishing, camp fires and relaxing in the hammock at camp. He was the most loving man you could ever want to meet, and with his meek and mild character, all who came to know him loved him dearly. He has left behind a loving family, many friends and a trail of many happy and unforgettable memories. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Gladys Cawood Haney. He leaves behind his best friend and beloved wife of 47 years, Wanda Haney of Cleveland; his loving children: Debbie Clark and husband Randall, Tammy Murray and husband Dave, Mike Haney, Richard Haney, and David Haney and wife Misty, all of Cleveland; four grandchildren: Tiffany Teasley, Chrystal Varnell, and Seth and Jesi Murray; great-grandchildren: Micah and Ali Teasley; two brothers: Billy Haney and wife Emma Sue of Charleston, and Johnny Haney and wife Joan of Cleveland; and several nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 19. 2007, at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor David O?Neil officiating. Interment will follow in Union Grove Church of Christ Cemetery with Wes Haney, Danny Haney, Charlie Haney, Don Still, Johnny Humphrey and Ronnie Haney serving as pallbearers.
