Caleb Jennings Johnson

Ina Grace ?Joni? Schultz, 79, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Schultz was a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church. A former resident of TX, she graduated from McMurray College in Abilene, where she met and married William ?Bill? Schultz. The couple returned to Cleveland and entered careers in education. She was a well known educator in the Cleveland area retiring after 34 years of teaching; and a member of the education sorority Delta Kappa Gamma. She was preceded in death on June 8, 2007 by her husband of 60 years, William ?Bill? Schultz; parents, Bob and Maggie Cheatham Johnson; brothers: R.E. Johnson, H.E. ?Jack? Johnson, L.E. ?Cap? Johnson and T.R. ?Tomboy? Johnson; sisters: Ada Belle Johnson Taylor, Ruby Johnson Russell, Charlotte Johnson Jackman, Ida Cozart and Polly Straughn. She is survived by her son, Robert J. Schultz; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Schultz Taylor and Robert L. Taylor all of Cleveland; grandchildren: Jonathan Schultz and wife, Holly, Amelia Schultz Brock and husband, Michael all of Cleveland and Mary Elizabeth Taylor of Nashville; great grandchildren: Elliot Caroline Brock, Addison Elise Brock and Madeline Blythe Schultz all of Cleveland; sisters: Alpha Mae Moss of Cleveland and Bert Wood and Emily Maness both of TX; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 5:00 P.M. Sunday, June 24, 2007 at Broad Street United Methodist Church with the Reverend Andy Ferguson and the Reverend Debbie Stokes officiating. Interment will be Monday at 10:00 A.M. in Chattanooga National Cemetery with the procession leaving at 9:00 A.M. from the Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. David Norton, Dan Norton, Danny Marr, Aaron Marr, Adam Marr, Stephen Duncan, Ricky Duncan and Gary Lynn Wood will be serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the church prior to the service.
