Bennie "Harris" Denham, 82, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2007 at the family residence. He was a member of the Heritage Fellowship Church of God. He was retired from the Cape Kennedy Space Center in Florida as quality control inspector and Harris also worked for various companies at the Cape for over thirty years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in World War II and Korean War. He was the son of the late Bennie G. Denham and Lillie Mae McDonald Denham and was also preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Denham Ashley. He is survived by his wife Lorine Purvis Denham of Cleveland; four children and spouses: Owen and Gail Denham of Westminster, MD, Dorothy Denham Boggs and Sheldon Boggs of Mt. Airy, GA, Austin and Missy Denham of Melbourne, FL, Adrianne Denham Messer and Alvin Messer of Cleveland, TN; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, David Denham of Millen, GA; one sister, Inez Nichols of Thomson, GA. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2007 at the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens in Thomson, GA with sons-in-law, Sheldon Boggs and Alvin Messer presiding. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Heritage Fellowship Church of God Building Fund, Post Office Box 551, McDonald, TN 37353.
