Ted Cleo Burris

Ted (T.C.) Cleo Burris, 63, of Cleveland, originally of McMinn County, passed away at his home Saturday, June 30, 2007. He was the owner of A&F Security Service for the past thirty years. He was preceded in death by his father Cleo Ted Burris and his mother Lois Wilson Shelton. He leaves behind his companion of 33 years, Kizzie Breeden Calfee of Charleston; eight step children and their spouses: Darlene and Rueben Isenhower of Ringgold, GA, Sharlene and Michael White of Lafayette, GA, Deneen and Travis Hembree, Tyrone and Sue Calfee Chris and Tosha Calfee, Michael Calfee and Shawn Calfee all of Cleveland and Shonya Whitaker of Old Fort, TN; 23 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Diane Shelton of Athens, TN; two brothers: Randy Shelton and Clay Shelton both of Athens, TN. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Tuesday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Ken Hutton officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Frankie McCartney, Josh McCartney, Shawn Calfee, Jr., Travis Hembree, Jr., Jimmy Whitaker, Jr. and Ray West serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be friends at Olin Chemical in Charleston, Tennessee. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
