Robert Michael Kodell

Robert "Bob" Michael Kodell, 60, a resident of Cleveland since 1990 and a native of Clarksville, AR, passed from this life to everlasting life with his heavenly Father, and was reunited with beloved family and friends on July 5, 2007. He was the son of the late Frank and Clara Spanke Knoedel (Kodell) and a member of St. Therese Lisieux Catholic Church. He was a financial advisor with Edward Jones Investments and counted many of his colleagues and clients as his closest friends. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Barbara Lepel Kodel; two stepsons: Jerry Gould of Clarksville, AR and Jody Gould and wife, Keren of Chattanooga; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Janelle and Gene Lazzo of Roeland Park, KS and Joan and John Rodemann of Jefferson City, MO; three brothers and sister-in-law: Abbot Jerome Kodell, O.S. B. of Subiaco, AR, Frank Kodell of Stafford, TX and Ralph and Valerie Kodell of Little Rock, AR and his many precious nieces, nephews, cousins, saunts, uncles and extended family and friends. A funeral mass will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church in Cleveland with Abbot Jerome Kodell O.S.B. officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Curt Duncan, Gary McDonald, Paul Hickman, Jim Fairweather, Becky Pelfrey, Vickie Chandler and Debbie Lewis. A white dove release ceremony on the lawn at the church will conclude the service. The family will receive friends at the reception immediately following the service. There will be a memorial service in Clarksville, AR on Sunday, July 8, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to Subiaco Academy, Subiaco, AR 72865.
