Helen Winfree Finison Teal, 92, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, July 16, 2007 in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Wadesboro, North Carolina. Mrs. Teal was the daughter of the late Gideon William Winfree and Susie Rebecca Huntley Winfree and was also preceded in death by her first husband, Edwin M. Finison and her second husband, Fred T. Teal and six sisters and seven brothers. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law: Edwin "Ed" and Dee Dee Finison of Cleveland; two grandchildren: Danielle E. Maize and husband, Brett Maize of Cleveland and E. Bryan Finison, Jr. and wife Lee Finison of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; five great-grandchildren: Austin Maize, Chloe Maize and Clark Maize all of Cleveland and Trey and Speed Finison both of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; one sister and brother-in-law: Rebecca Godwin and Carey Godwin of Wadesboro, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July, 19, 2007 in the Anson Memorial Park in North Carolina with Reverend Rob Rollins officiating. Her family will have a gathering of family and friends after the graveside service at the First United Methodist Church in Wadesboro, North Carolina.
