E. Paul Arms, 85, a resident of Bradley County, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2007 in a local hospital. He attended Clingan Ridge Baptist Church. He was a master mechanic, master electrician, plumber also a licensed pilot. He was formerly employed with Callaway Motor Company, Cleveland Auto Company and was later a custom home builder. Mr. Arms was the son of the late W.D. Arms and Robbie Quinn Arms and was also preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Marie Arms, daughter-in-law, Sharon Arms, two brothers, Reverend Ernest Arms and Olane Arms. He is survived by two sons and spouses: Danny P. and Barbara Arms of Panama City, Florida and Randy P. and Betty Arms of Cleveland; two grandchildren: Tomorrow Brock of Panama City, Florida and Summer Long of New Concord, Ohio; two great-grandchildren: Ashley Coffey and Hunter Long; one sister, Lorene Brown of Greenville, South Carolina; five brothers: Wallace Arms of Delano, TN, Marshall Arms of Blountville, TN, Boyd Arms of Smyrna, TN, Bill Arms of Rogersville, TN and Gene Arms of Smyrna, TN; special friend, Alice Goins of Cleveland, TN. The Celebration of the Life of Mr. Arms will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor James Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow in Chestuee Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. David Kibble, Robert Dunn, Roger York, Michael York, Gilbert Arms, Benny Mantooth, Larry Mantooth and Joe Long will serve as pallbearers. His family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
