Betty Lauderback Garner, 79, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2007, after a brief illness. She was a long time member of Bethel Baptist Church. She retired from American Uniform Company with 28 years of service. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Ruby and Charles Lauderback, an infant son, Lewis Garner, two brothers: Kenneth and Reynolds Lauderback, and one sister, Clara Ayers. She is survived by two sisters: Dorothy Lauderback and Robbynell Johnston; one brother-in-law, Jim Ayers; one son, Paul Garner; one daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Chase Blair; four grandchildren: Andrea Collins, Faith Chastain, Andrew and Ethan Blair; six great-grandchildren; two nephews: Charles and Ray Lauderback; three nieces: Patricia Thomason, Wilma Ownby and Connie Woods; and special friend, Barbara Bayless. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2007, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Dr. Reed Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Cemetery with Chase Blair, Andrew Blair, Ethan Blair, Bobby Woods, Dean Ownby and Mike Wilson serving as pallbearers.
