Glendora Jean Staton

Glendora (Dory) Staton, 51, a resident of Cleveland, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, August 12, 2007 at a local hospital after three years of a courageous battle with breast cancer. Daughter of Rose and Leland Murray. She is survived by her husband Alvin Staton of Cleveland; mother, Rose Murray of Cleveland; daughter, Angel Marie Smith of Ocoee; two grandchildren: Jena Michele Causey and Austin John Work both of Ocoee; three sisters and spouses: Melinda Marie Murray of Bradley, Florida, Angela Marie and Edward Maubach of Forrest, Illinois, Rosanna Lee and Mark Hunter of Mulberry, Florida; brother, Eldon "Butch" Murray of Florida; very special cousin who was like a sister to her, Tina Hall and husband Dave Hall of Carthage, MS. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2007 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Thursday August 16, 2007 at the funeral home prior to the service.
