Nicholas Michael, 75, a resident of Cleveland, passed away, Thursday, August 16, 2007 at his home. He was a member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church. He was a veteran of the U. S. Airforce where he served during the Korean Conflict and in Viet Nam during the French involvement. Mr. Michael was a former guidance counselor with West Lafayette Indiana School Corporation for 30 years and was a member of the Indiana State Teachers Association. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter Michael and Lora Richter Michael. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Michael of Cleveland; sons: Robert Michael of Covelo, CA, David Michael of Evansville, IN, Richard Michael of Rocky River, OH and Stuart Michael of Lafayette, IN; son by choice, Thomas Boler of Cleveland; daughters by choice: Maureen Simpson of Ft. Mill, SC, Susan Culleiton of Zionsville, IN, Kate Cooper of Eureka Springs, AR and Anne Eakins of Steamboat Springs, CO; 18 grandchildren; sister, Margaret Arthur of Ladoga, IN; half sisters, Lina Morell of Cloverdale, IN and Agnes Wright of Indianapolis, IN and several nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 20, 2007 at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church with Father P.J. McGinnity and Father Antinio Geraldo officiating. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors. His family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m.
