Woodrow "Woody" Brank, 70, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at the family residence. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Samuel and Annie Belle Brank; five sisters: Lona Brank, Lois Brank Featherston, Evelyn Brank, Eula Brank Tyson and Margaret Brank; three brothers: Donald Brank, Jack Brank and Henry Brank, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Shelia Patrick Brank of Cleveland; two children: Carrie Brank Froula and husband, David Froula of Murfreesboro, TN and Franklin Dee Brank of Cleveland; two grandchildren: Gabe Froula and Garrett Froula; three sisters: Frances Brank Moore, Bettie Brank Maness and Emily Brank Sutton; one brother, Charles Ray Brank; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Dr. Reed Wright officiating. The eulogy will be conducted by Jimmy Logan. Interment will follow in Moores Chapel Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Chris Maness, Phil Maxwell, Kelly Brank, Gabe West, Taylor Vaughn, Ryan Clark and Randy Maness will serve as pallbearers. His family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Wednesday and also from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
