James Thomas Lewis

James Thomas Lewis, 64, a resident of Cleveland, passed away, Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at a hospital in Murfreesboro. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Cleveland. He was formerly employed with Eckerd?s Drug Store as a pharmacist. Mr. Lewis served in the U.S. Navy as a boat specialist serving in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his parents, James H. Lewis and Irene Powell Lewis. He is survived by his children: James T. Lewis, Jr. of Athens, Irene Bryant of Munford, TN, and Justin Scott Lewis of Cleveland; grandchildren: Private Ashley Lewis of Ft. Leonardwood, MS, Justin Bryant of Munford, Nathan Lewis, Kelsey Woods, Joshua Woods, and Jordan Gibby all of Cleveland; Ramon Valasco who was like a brother to Jim; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family requests that you perform a random act of kindness in Jim?s memory. A memorial service will be held privately at a later date.
