Franklin T Schrader

March 11, 1930 — September 24, 2007

Frank T. Schrader, 77, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, September 24, 2007. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He was employed with Bowater for 42 years. He was a graduate of Bradley Central High School. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was the son of the late E.W. Schrader and Elizabeth Schrader and was also preceded in death by brothers: Ernest Schrader, J.H.Schrader, Joe, Stephens; George Stephens; sisters: Viola Higgins, Elsie Schrader, Nellie Wilson, Mary Gatlin and Virginia W. NeSmith. He is survived by wife, Margie Schrader; children: Becky McMurray of Birmingham, AL, Susan Blaine of Ooltewah, Scott Goins and Brad Goins both of Lake Charles, LA; granddaughters: Kelly McMurray of Birmingham and Stephanie Blaine of Ooltewah; sisters: Roberta Brauer, Norene Payne, Loulla Ranz and Sara Keller; brother, Ed Schrader. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Tom Moncrief officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery with Ben Keller, Charles Thacker, Alvin Davis, Tom Davis, Brad Scott and Lynn Gobble serving as pallbearers. His family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Schrader had many many blood transfusions due to a blood disease so in his memory the family asks that you donate blood or send a donation to Blood Assurance, 705 East 4th Street, Chattanooga, Tennessee 377403 or the American Red Cross, 304 20th Street SE, Cleveland, Tennessee 37311.
