Clifford Eugene Willis

Clifford Eugene Willis, 60, a resident of Cleveland, took his journey home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 29, 2007 after his victorious battle with cancer. Cliff was born March 1, 1947 in Bradley County, where he chose to live and raise his family. He was a dedicated Christian and an active member of Trinity Chapel. His life story was a testament to others. Cliff was a hard worker but took time to enjoy fishing, camping, his Ford Fairlane and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maggie Willis and sister, Jenny Lou Willis. He is survived by his sister, Mattie Sue Conners and brother-in-law, Johnny Conners; daughters and sons-in-law: Beverly (Willis) Kirk and Greg Kirk of Lake City, Tennessee, Rhonda (Willis) Moyers and Michael Moyers of Franklin, Tennessee; son and daughter-in-law: Michael Willis and Lynnette Willis of Cleveland; grandchildren: Joshua Kirk, Jonathan Moyers, Cara Moyers, Ashlyn Moyers, Heather King and Amber King; great-grandchild, Carrie Ann Joyce; several half brothers, nieces and nephews also survive. In a private ceremony, the immediate family will celebrate his life by spreading his ashes at his favorite fishing hole. We have been truly blessed.
