Gary Lee Lawson, 50, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2007 at the family residence. He attended Chilcutt Methodist Church. Mr. Lawson was the owner and operator of Lawson Tile Company for the past 11 years. He was an honorary member of VFW Post 2598. He loved NASCAR, drag racing and visiting the Tellico Mountains. He is survived by his parents, Clinton Eugene Lawson and Myrtle Pankey Lawson; daughter, TabItha Roblyer and husband, Doug; son, Joshua Clinton Lawson; former wife and best friend, Connie Lawson,; brother, Ronnie Lawson and sister-in-law, Sherry, all of Cleveland; nieces and nephew: Nicole Lawson, Kristy Lawson and Hunter Lawson; two great nephews, Domiano and Skyler Lawson; and a host of family and friends. Graveside services will be conducted at noon on Wednesday at Chilcutt Methodist Cemetery with the Reverend Danny Arp officiating. Randall Kersey, Danny Morgan, Sammy Feehrer, Ray Wooten, Jack Dill and Randy Morris will be serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Pankey, Gene Cox, Kent Berry, Eddie Morris and Roger Morris. His family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
