On October 20, 2007, another star will be shining in the sky. Ruth Kimmons, 75, went to heaven and will be greatly missed. She cherished every moment of life. She took great comfort in her Baptist faith. She will be following her husband of 54 years, Lee Kimmons, her parents, Earl and Nora Bell Fann, her brothers, Dewey Fann and Don Fann and nephew, Eric Wright. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Collins of Cleveland, TN; sons and daughters-in-law: Donald and Gail Kimmons of Countryside, Illinois, Rick and Sue Kimmons of Wilmington, Illinois, Steve and Millie Kimmons of Naperville, Illinois; her grandchildren are Billy, Matthew, Michael, Heather, Steve, Nikki, Robin, Scott and Brooke. She had seven great-grandchildren; also surviving her are two sisters and brothers-in-law: Evelyn and Bill Wright of Eagle Rock, MO and Annie and Rex Clabough of Cleveland, TN; an aunt, Catherine Kelly of Cleveland, TN and an uncle Winfred Gibson of Chattanooga, TN, also a very special niece, Linda Johnson of Cleveland, TN and an extended family. Her family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2007 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
