Lewis Howard Fryar, 79, a life long resident of Ooltewah, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2007 at a local healthcare facility. Mr. Fryar was the son of the late William Fryar and Dosie Walker Fryar and was also preceded in death by two brothers: Roy Sherlin and Jim Sherlin; three sisters: Susie Lawson, Lillian Lawson and Gladys Brown. He is survived by two sisters: Helen Bunch of Cleveland, TN and Beaulah McHaffie of Johnson City, TN; one brother, William Albert Sherlin of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at the Johnston Cemetery with Kurtis Bunch officiating. Shane Mason, Jonathan Mason, Christopher McDaniel, Mark Pedrick, Lottie Stinnett and Jerry Buhr will serve as pallbearers. His family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home prior to the graveside service.
