William Otha Keasling, 57, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2007. He was a former U.P.S. supervisor in Baton Rouge, LA. He was a member of Peerless Road Church of God of Prophecy and also a member of the Gideons International. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Vietnam Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Keasling and Virgie Ruth Lindsay Keasling. He is survived by his wife Nellie Keasling of Cleveland; daughter and spouse: Tammy and Kurt Henkel of Cleveland; son, Matthew Keasling of Brooklyn, New York; granddaughter, Caitrin Scheibelhut; sisters and spouses: Linda and Jeff Brown of Lawrenceburg, TN and Brenda and Ed Davis of Manchester, TN; brothers: Jimmy Keasling and wife Carol of Oldsmar, Florida, Ralph Keasling of Manchester, TN and Robert Keasling of Nashville, TN; step-mother, Joyce Keasling of Leoma, TN; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Coalter and Reverend Homer Rhea officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with military honors. His family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home and 1-2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
