Frankie Combs Harris, 80, a resident of Cleveland, went to her final home on Friday, November 23, 2007. She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and caretaker. She worked at Bradley Memorial Hospital in the pediatric wing as a nurse assistant for 10 years. She was the daughter of the late Wilburn Crockett Combs and Rosa Smith Combs. Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bud Harris and daughter, Sharon Lewis Nelson. She is survived by her son, Mike Lewis and wife, Geraldine of Cleveland; daughter, Florence Beavers and husband, Richard of Georgetown; one sister, Wilma Faith Dutto and one brother, Lee Combs, both of Chattanooga; six grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Pastor William Robinson will conduct her celebration of life service at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens and conclude with a white dove release ceremony. Her family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
