Frances Marie Godfrey

Frances Marie Godfrey, 79, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at a local healthcare facility. She was of the Church of God faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Dillingham and Stella Bryant Dillingham; son, Bobby Joe Godfrey; granddaughter, Kimberly Runion; one sister and four brothers. Mrs. Godfrey is survived by her husband, Jake Godfrey; children: Shelia Francine and Paul Runion of Riceville, Jerry Godfrey of Whitney, TX, Christine Godfrey of Cleveland, Marsha and Ted Everett of Muscle Shoals, AL, Larry and Debbie Godfrey of Charleston, Carolyn Kazy of Cleveland, Mary and Robbie Payne of Charleston and Paul Godfrey of Georgetown; 11 grandchildren: Tonya Evans, Brian Runion, Joshua Everett, Justin Everett, Jana Everett, Cody Godfrey, Catie Godfrey, Ben Kazy, Zachary Payne, Jeremiah Payne and Tucker Godfrey; sister, Edna Elroy of Dalton, GA; brother, Lloyd Dillingham of Maryville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2007 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Doyle McCracken officiating. Interment will follow at Center Point Cemetery with her grandsons, Brian Runion, Josh Everett, Justin Everett, Ben Kazy, Zachary Payne, Jeremiah Payne, Cody Godfrey and Tucker Godfrey serving as pallbearers. The service will conclude with a white dove release ceremony. Her family will receive friends from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
