Ronald David Wilson, 53, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2007 from a house fire at his home. He was of the Church of God faith. He was a dedicated husband, loving father and son. He was an avid bowler. He was employed with Maytag Corporation for over thirty years. He was known in the community as "Bird Dog". His wife, Joyce Wilson passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2007 from the same house fire at their home. Survivors include his children and spouses: David and Stephanie Wilson, Jason Wilson and Melissa Williams, Tommy Hall, Johnny Hall and fiancée Leah Petry all of Cleveland; five grandchildren; parents, Charles J. Wilson and Henrietta Chappell Wilson of Cleveland; two sisters: Kay Westwood and husband, Lucky Westwood of Hollister, CA and Tonya Allen of Cleveland; two nieces: Elizabeth Westwood of Arcata, CA and Tosha and Zane Rolland of Decatur, AL; two great nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 7, 2007 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Timothy Miller and Jerry Bain officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. His family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
