Virginia Norton

Virginia "Tish" Norton, 60, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, December 08, 2007 at the family residence. She was a charter member of All Saints Anglican Catholic Church in Soddy Daisy and a member of the vestry. Mrs. Norton was a Registered Nurse with Bradley Memorial Hospital and Skyridge Medical Center for the past 28 years. She was a graduate of the University of Florida in Gainesville. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Tipping, and Virginia Pitt Tipping and two brothers. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, John Norton of Cleveland; son, John Matthew Norton and wife Amber of Cleveland; three sisters: Jean Hamm of Cleveland, Violet Tuenge of Jacksonville, FL and Carol Christenson of Rockford, IL; special nieces and nephews: Sherlene Allen, Dave Hamm, Andrea Wichman and Karen Bryant and other nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Father Terry Bell of the Anglican Catholic Church officiating. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to All Saints Anglican Catholic Church in Soddy Daisy.
