John Dailey Orr

John (Jay) Orr, 46, a resident of Knoxville, TN, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2007 in a Knoxville hospital. Mr. Orr was the son of the late John (J.D.) Orr and Joyce Dowdy Orr. He is survived by his wife of seventeen years, Jeannie of Knoxville, TN; five children: Jared Orr, Ashley Orr and Kaitlyn Orr all of Knoxville, Valerie Harmon and Zach Redman both of Chattanooga; seven grandchildren; three sisters: Arlene Cox of Rossville, Georgia, Eva Orr of Cleveland, TN and Debbie Todd of Knoxville, TN; multitude of nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 1, 2008 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Jeannie Cissom officiating. His family will receive friends from 1-4 p.m. Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at the funeral home prior to the service.
