Waymon Davis

Waymon "Brian" Davis, 51, a life long resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, December 31, 2007 at his residence. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Hamilton County Police Reserve serving as an officer and the Native American Reserve Force. He was employed with the Davis Painting Company. He is survived by his three children: Rachel Ann Davis, Sara Elizabeth Davis and Hunter Brian Davis all of Cleveland; parents: Waymon O. Davis and Evelyn Joanne Casteel Davis; one grandchild, Jinnalee Brianne Hawkins of Cleveland; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Tony Keith and Sherry Davis and Danny Allen and Jennifer Davis all of Cleveland; one sister and brother-in-law, Sharon Davis Cate and Tom Cate of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2008 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Joel Huffstetler officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Pallbearers will be Jason Barrera, Byron Farmer, Donnie Burgess, James Cheek, Greg Carney, Brad Carney, Jerry Wilson, Jim Richeson and Mike Falls. Honorary pallbearer will be Jimmy Silvers. His family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
