George "David" Carden, 61, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2008 in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. He was an electrician with IBEW Local No. 175 in Chattanooga and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sadie Ruth Gibson Plank. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Ensley Carden of Cleveland; three children and their spouses: Janet "Kim" and Gene McCleary of Murfreesboro, Carmen and K.C. McDonald of Morristown, and Scott and Stacey Carden of Delano; father, George Carden of Cleveland; seven grandchildren: Tye and Kierra McCleary, both of Murfreesboro, Kevin, Molly and Claire McDonald, all of Morristown, Jacob and Katie Carden, both of Delano; two brothers: Horace Carden and wife Evie of Delano, and Terry Carden of Cleveland; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Pat and Janet Ensley of Cleveland; mother-in-law, Moneta Ensley of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Darrell Ross officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens concluding with a white dove release ceremony. Pallbearers include Gene McCleary, K.C. McDonald, Archie Long, Gary Davis, Tom Walters and Pat Ensley. His family will receive friends from 5 ? 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
