Jimmy Darrell Burchfield, 58, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at the family residence. He was of the Baptist faith. He was previously employed by Maytag Corporation. Mr. Burchfield was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his father, Buddy Burchfield. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Burchfield of Cleveland; mother, Margaret Newton Burchfield of Cleveland; 5 sons: Sammy Foster of Atlanta, GA, Ricky Foster of Bowden, GA, Larry Rymer and Mark Rymer of Cleveland, and John Greene of GA; 2 daughters, Sandy Parker and husband, Tony of Valdosta, GA and Angie Greene of GA; 4 grandchildren: Ashley and Aaron Parker of Valdosta, GA, Larry ?Bubba? Rymer and Coltin Rymer both of Cleveland; sister, Deborah Geren and husband, Richard and brother, Charles Burchfield and wife, Nancy all of Cleveland; 3 nieces and nephews: Melanie Shelton, Kristopher Geren and Robin Withrow all of Cleveland. Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Luther Eslinger officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Burchfield Cemetery in Reliance, TN with Tony Parker, Larry Rymer, Mark Rymer, Richard Geren, Kris Geren, Blake Shelton and Mike Shell serving as pallbearers. His family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
