Arthur John Couture

Arthur John Couture, 69, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2008 in a local hospital. He was a member of Elkmont Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was employed with Johnson Coca-Cola Enterprise. Mr. Couture was the son of the late Edward Couture and Katherine Heinicke Couture and was also preceded in death by his sister, Marie Winter. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Margaret Couture of Cleveland; five children: Monty Couture of Cleveland, Mark Couture of California, Marie Coldwin of Oklahoma, Michael Couture of California and Matthew Couture of Idaho; three step children: Nancy Loehr of Michigan, Scott Burnett of Oregon and Douglas Burnett of Michigan; seven grandchildren; two sisters: Sally Juhl of Harrison, Michigan and Rita Gall of Red Bluff, California; two brothers: Al Couture of Ft. Walton, Florida and John Couture of Charleston, TN; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 10: 00 a.m. Thursday, February 7, 2008 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Johnny Hood officiating. Interment will follow in Moores Chapel Cemetery with military honors. Scott Burnett, Douglas Burnett, Monty Couture, Jr., Monty Couture, Sr., Hector Couture and John Couture, Jr. will serve as pallbearers. His family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at the funeral home.
