Ada Belle Carroll Swafford, 94, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, February 05, 2008. She was a graduate of the Class of 1935 at Bradley Central High School and a member of Faith Baptist Church. Before her retirement, she was employed as a seamstress with American Uniform for 20 years. She was the daughter of the late William L. and Missouri Pence Carroll and was also preceded in death by her husband, Aulbi Swafford, son, James Dale Swafford and daughter, Sue Gail Swafford. Also preceding her in death were several sisters and brothers: Mamie Caywood, Ora Collins, Frances Jackson, Ruth Ingram, Herbert Carroll and Theodore Carroll. She is survived by two sons and their spouses: Larry and Pat Swafford of Ocoee, and Reggie and Brenda Swafford of Cleveland; special daughter-in-law, Martha Moses of Cleveland; five grandchildren: Kevin Swafford and wife Stacy, Chris Swafford, Eric Swafford and wife Nikki, Jennifer Hannah, and Dalenna Wilson and husband Clint; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Roy Carroll and wife Dorothy of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Frank Nolen and Reverend Mark Burger officiating. Graveside interment will be Thursday at 3:00 p.m. in Hopewell Cemetery with grandsons and nephews serving as pallbearers. Her family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 ? 8 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
