Lloyd Waters

Lloyd Waters, 97, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2008 in a local hospital. He was a charter member of the Ocoee Church of God. He loved fishing and going to church. He was retired from Hardwick Stove Company after over forty years of service. Mr. Waters was the son of the late William Waters and Pearly German Waters and was also preceded in death by his wife, Lois Maney Waters;son-in-law, Bob Whitmire; siblings, Lola Grubb, Olen Lee Waters, Lawrence Waters and Wallace Waters. He is survived by his children: Jean Whitmire of Ocoee, Dean and Ben Milen of Ocoee, Wildon and Ann Waters of Old Fort, Kenneth and Brenda Waters of Varnell, Georgia and Yvonne Bullins of Cleveland, TN; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Gazelle Philpot of Cleveland; one brother, Eldon Waters of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2008 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Guinn Green officiating. Interment will follow in Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. His family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
