Reginald G. Hyberger, 77, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2008 at his home. He attended Eastside Church of Christ his entire life and was a member for the last 67 years where he was a former deacon. He was a former board member of Martin-Boyd Christian Retirement Home in Chattanooga. He graduated from Bradley Central High School in the class of 1949 and University of Tennessee College of Law in the class of 1954. Mr. Hyberger was a well known local attorney at law in Bradley County, and was the Bradley County Clerk and Master of Chancery Court for 22 years. He was a former president of the Bradley County Bar Association. He was preceded in death by his parents, F. Glenn Hyberger and Bonnie Phillips Hyberger. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Corrine Cline Hyberger of Cleveland; 2 sons: D. Cory Hyberger and wife, Jan of Nashville and Andrew Cline Hyberger and wife, Anne of Spring Hill; 4 grandchildren: Augusta Hyberger, Alyssa Hyberger, Samuel Hyberger and Elias Hyberger; 1 brother, Franklin Hyberger and wife, Lynn of Cleveland; special friends, Max and Patsy Carroll of Cleveland and Kenneth and Barbara Still of Chattanooga and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with his brother, Minister Franklin Hyberger and Minister Jeff Archey officiating. Private inurnment will be Tuesday in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. His family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2008 at the funeral home prior to the service.
