Delores Nelson Strickland

Delores Nelson Strickland, 71, a resident of Cleveland went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 24, 2008. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. Mrs. Strickland was a Licensed Practical Nurse and was employed with Bradley Memorial Hospital for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Loma and Grant Nelson; daughter, Melissa McCullen Patterson and brother, John Franklin Nelson. She is survived by her husband, John L. Hatcher of Cleveland; son, Tim McCullen and wife, Tammy of Cleveland; grandchildren: Jenna McCullen, Tyler McCullen and Christopher Patterson; brother, Claude Bane "C.B." Nelson and wife, Vesta of Mongomery, AL; sister-in-law, Brenda Nelson of Nashville and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Jim Caywood officiating. Her family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
